Ableev, Daniel

Daniel Ableev, born in 1981 in Novosibirsk, Russia, is a certified strangeologist from Bonn, Germany. He studied law and comparative literature, writes for the metal magazine Legacy, composes avantsounds for Freuynde + Gaesdte, and co-edits DIE NOVELLE – Zeitschrift für Experimentelles. His publications are in German and English, both in print and online.


Acuff, Gale

Gale Acuff has had poetry published in Ascent, Ohio Journal, Florida Review, Adirondack Review, Worcester Review, George Washington Review, Cardiff Review, Tokyo Review, and many other magazines. He has also authored three books of poetry: Buffalo Nickel (BrickHouse, 2004), The Weight of the World (BrickHouse, 2006), and The Story of My Lives (BrickHouse, 2009). Gale has taught tertiary English courses in the US, PR China, and Palestine.


Aderibigbe, D.M.

D.M. Aderibigbe is a Nigerian undergraduate, who is studying History and Strategic Studies in the University of Lagos. His poetry and short fiction have been published in journals across 10 countries around the world, including Wordriot, Cannon's Mouth, Red River Review, Ditch, Kritya, The Applicant, Thickjam, Cadaverine and DoveTales among many others.


Adhikari, Haris Chand
Haris Chand Adhikari is from Jhapa, Nepal, currently staying in Kathmandu. He has an MA in English and American literature from Tribhuvan University. A member of The Society of Nepali Writers in English, he is a teacher of English by profession. His Nepali poems and songs have appeared in Gorkhapatra, Bimarsha and Kantipur Kopila. His English poems have recently appeared in Mad Swirl and Mirror Dance. At present, he is working on his first English poetic collection, which he hopes will be out by November. He primarily loves to write conversational and contemplative poetry, digging into the layers of phony faces, violence, injustice, shattered dreams, disillusionment, etc. And he describes himself as "a branch extended to aloofness that heavily swings when the day is windy".

Haris has translated a number of articles from English and Hindi into Nepali. In 2008, he co-translated Releasing the Powers of Junior Youth, a wonderful book on life and philosophy, for the Baha'i Community of Nepal. He worked for Nepal Monitor, a semi–scholarly online journal, for half a decade until 2008 as a research assistant and contributor.

Afxentiou, Vasilis

Vasilis Afxentiou is an ESL/EFL teacher in Athens, Greece. He went to college and university in the United States where he received his degrees. He also studied music formally at the Hellenic Conservatory. He writes both in English and in Greek. His writing includes short stories, articles and essays, a theatrical play, five novels, and a novella. His work has appeared in Europe, Australia, Canada, the USA and on the Web. He has also been invited to be published in the poetry anthology of Contemporary Greek Poets, Vol. III.


Ang, Arlene

Arlene Ang is presently working as a freelance writer in the Philippines. Her work has been published in such magazines as Black Bear Review, Zuzu's Petals Quarterly, Agniezska's Dowry, Ulisse (Italy), LiNQ (Aus) and Snakeskin (UK).


Aprylfox

Aprylfox lives in Michigan. She has been writing since she was thirteen years old, and her work has appeared in Can We Have Our Ball Back, and Word Riot on the web; and print magazines like Snow Monkey, Offcourse Magazine. She is currently working on three novels.
